• Antoine Fine, Managing Director

    Antoine has 10-years of experience in private equity and business development. He first joined Lazard in 2003, one of the world's preeminent financial advisory and asset management firms, as part of the midcaps private equity team and was promoted to Investment Director in 2006.

    During this time, he managed 15 deals in a variety of situations (LBO, majority & minority stakes, mezzanine & bonds financing, mergers, expansion capital, debt refinancing) and monitored two companies up to exit.
    After a full year spent in North Africa & Middle East in 2009, Antoine then founded Financière Avanti, an investment & business development structure, leading, among other activities, to the creation of Alumna in partnership with Altai Consulting and a French family office.
    Antoine holds an MBA from HEC (Hautes Etudes Commerciales), the leading European School of Management and speaks French, English and Italian.

  • Arnaud Langlois-Meurinne, Advisor

    In addition to his contribution to strategy design and the setup of the company, Arnaud focuses on building relations with specialized training providers, business schools and individual experts in order to complement Alumna’s own internal resources. Arnaud has worked for more than 20 years in the publishing industry for educational materials.

    After a first experience in Algeria as teacher in a vocational training school, Arnaud occupied different positions, culminating in his role as general manager of Editions Nathan and Havas Education et References, leading French publishing companies, and has also been Senior Vice President for Adult Learning at Vivendi Universal Education, a worldwide major educational publisher.

    He developed there an extensive experience in a range of educational areas, from preschool level to continuing education. Over the last 10 years, Arnaud has the dean of Rouen Business School, a leading French business school with 4,000 students, which obtained under his management the triple accreditation (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS).
    During his mandate, he developed executive education operations through setting-up a joint-venture company with Reims Management School, named Paris Executive Campus. Arnaud is an alumnus of HEC Paris where he obtained a Masters in General Management and of Paris Université René Descartes with a Masters in Sociology.  

  • Rodolphe Baudeau, Advisor

    Rodolphe Baudeau is Senior Advisor for Alumna. He is a co-founder and lead partner of Altai Consulting, an advisory firm providing strategy consulting & research services to private companies, governments and public institutions in developing countries.

    Rodolphe oversees Altai’s large telecom, media, FMCG and industrial development projects in Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia.Rodolphe also works with multilateral and bilateral agencies as well as governments on strategic planning, program design, and private sector development.

    Rodolphe has worked on engagements covering more than 30 different economic sectors in more than 20 countries, allowing him to develop a thorough understanding of the dynamics of emerging markets.Prior to launching Altai Consulting, Rodolphe was a Marketing Manager at the L'Oréal Consumer Goods Division in Paris (France), in charge of eight international brands, and a brand manager for LVMH Group in Sydney (Australia). Rodolphe holds an MBA from ESSEC-Paris, one of the leading business schools in Europe.

  • Haitham Al, Operations Manager IATA Travel Academy

    Haitham is the Operations Manager and Lead Trainer for Alumna's Malta-based Travel Academy. Haitham is a multilingual professional (English & Arabic) with a solid background and knowledge of the airline industry. Prior to joining Aluma, Haitham worked as cabin crew & ground crew trainer for Emirates Airlines, Etihad Airways, and Blue Ocean Academy in Dubai. Haitham has in addition 3-year experience as Business Developer in the Education sector, in Dubai and in Malta. Haitham holds a Bachelor degree in Hospitality Management from the Applied Sciences University (ASU) of Amman and is an IATA approved Trainer

  • Hugues Dewavrin, Advisor

    Hugues is Chairman of the board of Groupe Pomona, one of the largest European players in the food and catering industry. He started his career as an advisor to various Ministers and later founded several companies, including hotel chain ‘Ecomotel.’ He is active in the real estate industry and has invested in various sectors including media and services, amongst others.

    Since 2003, Hugues Dewavrin has led numerous public-private partnership initiatives in Africa, in the Middle East and in Central Asia in the culture and knowledge sector.

    Hugues Dewavrin is also a board member of the French cultural NGO La Guilde Européenne du Raid which promotes development and adventure.
